These terms are an agreement between you and Worklair Pty Ltd (ACN 685 645 452, ABN 16 685 645 452), the Sydney-based Australian company that operates SangraMate. They cover the SangraMate iPhone app, its web portals and this website. The Medical Warnings page is part of these terms, and the Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data — please read both.
SangraMate is a companion app for people living with type 1 diabetes and the people who support them. It shows glucose readings refreshed about every two minutes, forecasts up to 90 minutes ahead, smart alarms, logging, AI assistance and morning briefings.
You need an iPhone, a compatible FreeStyle Libre sensor and your own LibreLinkUp account. You are responsible for keeping those credentials accurate and secure, and for your own agreement with Abbott.
SangraMate is for adults — you must be at least 18 to create an account. Keep your sign-in details and two-factor codes to yourself; what happens under your account is your responsibility. Give us accurate information, and tell us at info@sangramate.com if you suspect someone else is using your account.
SangraMate is not a medical device. It displays information — it never directs treatment. Nothing in the app, including AI content, replaces professional medical care, and the Medical Warnings apply to every feature.
SangraMate displays and analyses glucose and lifestyle information to support your understanding of your diabetes. SangraMate is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and must not be used to make treatment decisions. Never make insulin dosing or hypoglycaemia treatment decisions based on information in SangraMate — always confirm your glucose using your sensor's own app or reader, or a blood glucose meter, and follow the advice of your healthcare professional. Data in SangraMate may be delayed, incomplete or unavailable; do not rely on SangraMate for urgent alerts.
In plain English: your subscription renews automatically at the end of each monthly or annual period, at the price shown in the App Store when you subscribed. The 7-day trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends. You can cancel any time in your Apple ID subscription settings, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
Use SangraMate for personal diabetes support only. Don't resell access, probe or overload the service, or attempt to extract other people's data. We may suspend accounts that put the service or other users at risk.
Your data is yours. You give us permission to host and process it only as far as running the service requires — the Privacy Policy is the full story. AI outputs are informational and can be wrong; check them before you rely on them.
Parts of SangraMate depend on services we don't control — Abbott's LibreLinkUp, Apple's billing and notification systems, and our AI and transcription providers. When they have problems, so do we: availability is not guaranteed, and we are not responsible for those services themselves.
FreeStyle Libre, LibreLinkUp and related marks are trademarks of Abbott. SangraMate is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Abbott.
We may update the app and these Terms. If a change materially reduces the services you have paid for, we will give you at least 30 days' notice, and you may cancel before the change takes effect and receive a refund or credit for the unused portion of any prepaid period. Other changes take effect when we notify you in-app or by email.
You can stop using SangraMate at any time; to delete your account, email info@sangramate.com from your account address. We may suspend or close accounts that materially breach these terms, telling you where practicable. Subscription refunds, if any, follow Apple's process and your Australian Consumer Law rights.
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
To the extent the law permits us to limit our liability, and subject to the paragraph above: (a) we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss; and (b) our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the services is limited to the amount you paid for the services in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for: (i) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (ii) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (iii) any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and disputes belong to the courts there. If part of these terms turns out to be invalid, the rest still applies. Questions: info@sangramate.com.
